The Practice, MDA Architects has established itself in the Port Elizabeth and Border/Kei region of the Eastern Cape Province and currently has offices in Port Elizabeth and Mthatha. The practice is well equipped to undertake commissions in the Eastern Cape Province from George/Knysna in the West up to the Kwa-Zulu Natal boundary with the Eastern Cape.
A considerable base of knowledge in architectural design, construction, I.T. capability and office administration is brought to the practice by the founding directors with a particular design focus on the following: hospital and institutional buildings, regional and local shopping centres, industrial buildings, office and commercial design and a wide range of residential design.
The practice is able to assist in establishing and assessing the viability of a project through developing design, cost and construction options. The practice offers a full range of services encompassing the compilation of presentation material, production of comprehensive working drawings, advice on contract selection, project management and site supervision.
MDA Architects is a level 1 B-BBEEE contributor and a value adding supplier. The practice is also a corporate member of the South African Institute of Architects and our employees are also registered members of the SAIA, ECIA, BKIA, SACAP, GBCSA.
MDA Interiors was launched in 2009 under the directorship of Kirsty King and operates throughout the Eastern Cape. MDA Interiors offers a complete service of interior design, colour co-ordination, space planning, detail design and project management. Specialising in retail and corporate design, our clients can be assured of our best service, creativity and innovation. Kirsty is a registered member of the South African Institute of Interior Design Professions.
